FOX News shows some integrity? AGAIN! How can that be?

First, Shepard Smith went after Joe the Plumber for his lies and hypocrisy, now he goes after Ralph Nader for referring to Obama as a potential Uncle Tom.  You know, I like a lot of what Nader has done and stands for, but the guy has absolutely ZERO class.  If he really wanted to make the Green Party a viable third party, he should start at the ground level, get some Green candidates to run for local government and Senate and House seats.  But no!  The Green Party has to run (almost) exclusively for President every election with less than NO chance of actually winning but only of being a spoiler to the candidate that most closely aligns with the Green Party (usually the Democratic Party).

Fuck you, Ralph Nader.  Just go away already!

In other news, it looks like Obama has already asked Rahm Emanuel to be his Chief of Staff.  Now I confess to not being very politically aware pre-2000, and even then didn't may that much attention to Bush's cabinet selection.  So I'm eager to he how this plays out.

Rahm is an ok guy. Met him a few times while he was campaining over the years.

Kinda short. Course, that's just me.

Nader strikes me as someone who once meant well and served a useful role, but then let his own reputation go to his head. These last few years, he seems like he's in it just to hear himself talk and show how great he is, while contributing very little, even on the idea front.
To me, his recent behavior has more than negated his earlier positive contributions.
That's how I feel about far too many people in politics, John McCain included. Jesse Jackson is like that, too - there was a time I had a lot of respect for him. His son seems ok, but I don't know much about him.
His son is a really good guy, as is his wife. They are both extremely intelligent, and work the Chicago (and soon DC, I'm sure!) political scene from the inside, rather than as outsiders.

Then again, one might argue that JJ Jr. wouldn't have been able to be an insider if it weren't for the outrageous outsider antics of his father and others like him...I don't know.

From what I've heard (and mind you, this is Nth-hand), Rahm Emmanual is a bit of a turd but an excellent organizer.
Both very good qualities in a chief of staff, imho.
Ha, exactly! Those hoping to be popular with staff probably wouldn't have the guts to do all that's needed.
